Objective:
1) Continue deployment of FHB forecasting models via web-based tools
2) Develop partnerships with the Crop Protection Network that bring the FHB models to a larger audience
3) Enhance the datasets used to model FHB with observations from new environments
4) Develop the next generation of predictive models for FHB on wheat
Approach:
Using existing infrastructure and modeling framework as previous seasons, the latest and most reliable meteorological gridded data will be used as input variables for FHB forecasting models. Expert commentary and enhanced mapping tools, like on-click graphing features, will continue to be supported.
