Objective:
The objective of this research is evaluate the growth and development of stored product insects on sorghum and evaluate grain protectants applied to a variety of different stored product grains to reduced infestation by stored product insects.
Approach:
First, different sorghum varieties and types of bran will be evaluated on the growth and development on multiple species of stored product insects. Secondly, residual insecticides applied as grain protectants will be evaluated for controlling stored product insects during storage.
