Objective:
Cooperator will coordinate with ARS to collate and curate data from long-term USDA-ARS research and prepare the data for submission to the SOCRATA database, which is part of the larger USDA-LTAR (Long Term Agroecosystem Research) effort to standardize data across agricultural experiments and make it available through a centralized web portal.

Approach:
Cooperator will participate in USDA-ARS LTAR Data Management Working Group meetings to learn protocols for data collation, formatting, and uploading to the SOCRATA database. Cooperator will assist ARS scientists in preparing existing datasets for upload and archival; and also work with ARS scientists to identify opportunities to improve efficiency of future data collection and management activities.
