Objective:
1. Evaluate the effectiveness of agricultural best management practices in the region. 2. Monitor watershed endpoint and water quality parameters relative to the best management practices.

Approach:
In Long Branch Creek, a sub-watershed of the Salt River Basin, the effects of conservation activities on water and soil quality will be assessed at the watershed scale using models such as ARS' Soil and Water Assessment Tool, in combination with ARS long-term watershed data sets, expertise, and resources.
