Objective:
The objectives of this research are to: 1) catalog University of Minnesota varieties/germplasm for FHB responses and agronomic data in a database, 2) share the database with breeders who have interest in crossing with MU germplasm, 3) grow and purify superior lines, and 4) send samples to national collection and make available to interested breeders.
Approach:
The researcher will catalog University of Missouri germplasm into a database, seed will be increased and purified, pure seed will be distributed to interested breeders for crossing with a subsample stored at the wheat repository in Aberdeen, Idaho.
