Objective:
The objectives of this research are: 1) use traditional breeding methods to provide durum and spring wheat germplasm with introgressed FHB resistance to breeders in the growing region and 2) use genomic approaches to improve and optimize breeding for FHB resistance in durum and spring wheat.

Approach:
The researcher will conduct traditional and molecular breeding methods to improve FHB resistance in durum and spring wheat germplasm for breeders in the growing region.
