Objective:
The objectives of this research are: 1) test new fungicides available to wheat and barley growers and develop best management protocols, 2) evaluate current fungicides for efficacy on FHB in wheat and barley and 3) educate growers and on best management practices for producing high quality wheat and barley in Michigan.

Approach:
The researcher will conduct fungicide trials in Michigan in order to determine the best management strategies for wheat and barley growers in this region. Growers will be educated on the best methods for producing high quality wheat and barley at field days, workshops, meetings, newsletters and other media outlets.
