Objective:
The overall objective of this project is to determine the effect of UV-C light irradiation on cyclamen mite infestation in the strawberry crown.
Approach:
We will use the Phyllolux UV-C technology with dark period in this study. Strawberry plants will be infested with cyclamen mite and exposed to UV-C irradiation followed by a dark period. Strawberry crowns will be evaluated periodically for the level of cyclamen mite infestation. Data will be summarized and statistical analysis performed.
