Objective:
The objectives of this research are to: 1) develop genetic tools for developing FHB resistant barley lines and 2) identify novel wheat genes to develop genomic resources for improving FHB resistance in wheat.

Approach:
The research will conduct molecular experiments to develop tools and methods for improving FHB resistance in wheat and barley and test these genetic resources in field evaluations.
