Objective:
Promote and conduct scientific research in the areas of sustainable agricultural and food production practices by jointly executing appropriate "Cooperative Agreements."
Approach:
If a Joint Research Team is formed, both parties shall work to reach a consensus in directing the performance of the research and may include any or all of the following responsibilities, as specified in each cooperative research agreement:
1) Management of the Research Project;
2) Determination of which tasks will be conducted by the Danforth Center, by the USDA-ARS, by third parties, or a combination thereof;
3) Monitoring the Research Project;
4) Discussion of issues related to the publication of research results; and
5) Meet to discuss progress and results, ongoing plans, and/or changes therein to Research Project.
