Objective:
The objective of this project is to identify effective insecticides for European Cherry Fruit Fly, Rhagoletis cerasi.

Approach:
ARS will: 1) Compare the toxicity of five insecticides (GF-120 Naturalyte Fruit Fly Bait, Warrior II, Assail, Mustang, and Imidan) against Apple Maggot Fly when applied to foliage in field cages; and 2) Assess the efficacy of five insecticides (GF-120 Naturalyte Fruit Fly Bait, Warrior II, Assail, Mustang, and Imidan) against Apple Maggot Fly when applied to foliage and left to weather for one and seven days.
