Research Project: Protein-based Thermotolerance Markers for Sustainable Legume Protein Production

Location: Soybean and Nitrogen Fixation Research

Project Number: 6070-21220-070-004-A
Project Type: Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Jun 1, 2019
End Date: Dec 31, 2023

Objective:
The objective of this research is to model temperature stress responses in soybean to identify predictive markers.

Approach:
Advanced deep learning-based models will link phophoprotein markers with temperature stress tolerance. These models will integrate phosphoproteomic data, physiological data, and agronomic data generated by USDA and VIB.
