Objective:
1) Develop carrot germplasm for warm climates in Asia and U.S. 2) Trial carrot production in warm climates.

Approach:
1) Field test performance of carrot germplasm in Asian climates, select germplasm with superior performance, release germplasm. 2) Grow carrots on local farms, train them to phenotype abiotic stress and other performance traits, and collect information they gather to include in characterization of germplasm.
