Objective:
Provide land managers with information and decision tools needed to reduce risk to agricultural operations in a changing climate. Develop interactive learning experiences and social networks to enhance stakeholder capacity for risk management and adaptation in a changing climate.

Approach:
The Cooperator and ARS will collaborate in providing land managers of agricultural operations with information and decision tools to reduce risk in a changing climate. These efforts will involve developing interactive learning experiences and social networks to enhance stakeholder capacity for risk management and adaptation in a changing climate. Professional staff with the Cooperator will lead coordination of the USDA Northern Plains Climate Hub and Extension collaborative efforts addressing these objectives within the six state region (Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska).
