Objective:
It is the intention of the parties to this Agreement that the research work shall affirm their mutual interest in cooperative research programs and exchanges and shall be for their mutual benefit and the benefit of the people of the United States.

Approach:
The MSU employee stationed at USDA-ARS will be directly involved in both live animal and laboratory studies which will require direct personnel involvement in all studies. Major duties and responsibilities may include, but not be limited to, performing various laboratory analyses, developing techniques that contribute to the studies, working directly with live and dead animals, performing routine animal husbandry work (e.g., feeding animals, cleaning animal facilities, etc.), working with personnel from the Livestock Issues Research Unit and Mississippi State University, traveling between Lubbock and Starkville, and attending scientific meetings to disseminate research results.
