Objective:
The objective of this non-assistance cooperative agreement is to develop and/or deliver region-specific scientific information and technologies for agricultural and natural resource managers that enable climate-smart decision-making. Enhance climate knowledge and resilience in the Southwestern U.S. working lands.

Approach:
The Southwest Climate Hub as part of the ARS research unit based at the Jornada Experimental Range will work closely with the Utah State University Extension Service in developing science-based land management and conservation practices: Collect from and distribute to farmers, ranchers, foresters, tribes and other resource managers information about weather and climate impacts, as well as adaptation techniques and information.
