Research Project: Coupling Temporally Explicit Geospatial Agronomic and Environmental Information

Location: National Soil Erosion Research

Project Number: 5020-12130-003-21-S
Project Type: Non-Assistance Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Aug 15, 2018
End Date: Aug 14, 2020

Objective:
Develop geospatially and temporally referenced database for agricultural and environmental parameters related to the Texas Gulf Coast and Eastern Corn Belt Long-Term Agroecosystem Research Network projects.

Approach:
Establish a georeferenced database with temporally explicit parameters for agronomic management, meteorology and water quality (i.e., discharge volume/rate, nutrient/pesticide concentrations), etc. Identify temporal relationships between management activities and agronomic/environmental response variables.
