Objective:
Sequence, assemble and annotate the avocado cultivar VC75 genome.
Approach:
VC75 genomic DNA will be commercially sequenced. Sequence data will be uploaded to USDA supercomputer Ceres (Iowa State University). Assembly and annotation will be performed on Ceres using available bioinformatics tools.
