Objective:
The objective of this project is to develop methods for rearing spotted lanternfly and conduct biological studies. Under the authority of 7 USC 3319a, ARS desires to acquire goods and personnel services from one of the Cooperators to further agricultural research supporting the independent interests of both parties. A sub-agreement will serve as an order for services to be funded on an annual basis.

Approach:
Field collection of immature stages and adult spotted lantern fly in eastern PA. Conduct basic biological (feeding and developmental) studies on LF in BIIR quarantine. Rear and identify any LF natural enemies obtained from field surveys in PA.
