Objective:
Provide clear, concise and relevant datasets (existing and/or new) to NRCS, use those data to model pasturelands, and for ARS scientist review of model outputs.
Approach:
1. Modeling and parameterization on 3 sites in ND.
2. Organize existing historical pasture data from the Great Plains and Tifton and make available for modeling.
3. Provide input-ready files for modeling El Reno ARS and NRI Onsite data.
4. Provide data to ARS and NRCS for parameterizing and validating pasture models.
5. Submit manuscript to reputable journal on grazing land modeling topic.
7. Assess accuracy of model output for meeting CEAP objectives.
