Objective:
1) Design new U.S. farm-raised catfish products (including packaging, labeling) for different markets based on changing consumers’ needs. 2) Test and identify new products to expand markets for U.S. farm-raised catfish.

Approach:
In order to achieve the project objectives, the project design will follow a step-wise approach leading to a detailed understanding of changing consumers’ preferences in different markets, and the subsequent development of various catfish products. The project will cover important stages of the product development pathway, and will begin with stakeholders in mind and end with greater consumer satisfaction and excitement about U.S. farm-raised catfish.
