Objective:
The objective of this cooperative research project is to jointly study the dynamics of avian influenza of poultry and wild birds.
Approach:
The studies will use immunological, virological, molecular, genetic, and pathological methodologies and animal models to study the immunity, pathogenesis, emergence, epidemiology and control of the viruses and infections they cause.
