Objective:
To discover innovative methods for the control of insect that transmits diseases to U.S. military deployed abroad.

Approach:
Evaluate compounds with insecticidal activity that can be used in the rapid control of mosquitoes, flies, and sand flies responsible for carrying disease agents. Discover innovative means of applying control agents especially suited for use in combat or deployment conditions. Identify and test new classes of topical and spatial repellents for use by troops.
