Objective:
The objective of the project is to match FoodAPS1 and IRI foods to existing FNDDS foods/beverages to develop new codes with foods patterns equivalent amounts and selected nutrient profiles.

Approach:
The FoodAPS1 and IRI foods will be grouped into categories. Each food within a category will be examined to see whether it can be matched to an existing FNDDS code. For foods with no FNDDS matches, new codes with descriptions will be created. For all the foods in FoodAPS1 and IRI, selected nutrient profiles and food patterns food group equivalents will be computed.
