Objective:
Identify diverse effector repertoires of F. graminearum from multiple field strains.
Approach:
1. Describe the effector diversity of F. graminearum by characterizing the transcriptome of naturally infected wheat lines with various levels of resistance. 2. Conduct functional aggressiveness assays with effector characterized strains.
