Objective:
Develop a smartphone application and cloud-based web platform for Irrigator Pro to enhance access to advanced irrigation scheduling.
Approach:
Existing data and infrastructure from National Peanut Research Lab Irrigator Pro software will be integrated into a smartphone application available on iOS and Android platforms. Capabilities of the smartphone application will include the ability to collect data from soil moisture sensors in the field, transmit data to the Irrigator Pro cloud server, and automatically retrieve irrigation recommendations from Irrigator Pro. The web platform will be updated to run in sync with the smartphone application.
