Objective:
To build and test a cabinet x-ray tube irradiator for phtyosanitary treatment of fruit.

Approach:
A prototype commercial x-ray machine will be built with off the shelf components for this unique use. Testing will be done to determine dose rate, dose uniformity and product treatment efficiency.
