Objective:
To 1)obtain germplasm of wild Ipomoea species in the United States, and 2)document populations of Ipomoea species from which germplasm is collected.

Approach:
Germplasm of Ipomoea species will be collected from wild populations in the United States. Germplasm will be collected in the form of seeds and will be documented with locality, latitude and longitude, elevation, plant description and growing environment. Herbarium voucher specimens will be made as appropriate. A detailed trip report, including information on all samples obtained, will be provided to ARS.
