Objective:
Improve insect pollinator health through physiological analysis of insects (especially the alfalfa leafcutting bee) during industrial standard and improved handling techniques.
Approach:
Key physiological aspects, including analysis of lipid reserves, micro-CT structural analysis, and an assessment of immune response will be used to determine alfalfa leafcutting bee health during standard and improved handling techniques.
