Identify the genetic components underlying desirable flavor properties of whole grain wheat products.
Use our existing mouse model system for determining relative consumption preference of individual wheat genotypes; evaluate a doubled haploid population using the mouse model for consumption preference; and evaluate 20 hard white winter doubled haploid breeding lines from Colorado State University. Quantify the relative consumption preference using Student’s t Score.
