Objective:
To use marker-assisted selection (MAS) in backcross to transfer the traits of disease resistance and high oleic acid into elite peanut lines.

Approach:
A backcrossing schedule with MAS will be used to transfer a trait of interest into elite lines. The final products will be high oleic lines with disease resistance.
