Objective:
Evaluating some aspects of soil quality (Aggregation and Particulate Organic Matter) and nutrients dynamics (Carbon and Nitrogen) under conservation tillage in relation to the conventional tillage cropping systems in Lesotho.
Approach:
The National University of Lesotho; Department of Soils Science & Resource Conservation will provide soil samples from different tillage practices at different depths to the USDA-ARS for analysis. The USDA-ARS will evaluate soil aggregation, soil particulate organic matter, and soil total carbon and nitrogen content of these samples.
