Research Project: 2014 International Symposium "Evapotranspiration: Challenge in Measurement and Modeling from Leaf to the Landscape Scale and Beyond"

Location: Soil and Water Management Research

Project Number: 3090-13000-014-20-G
Project Type: Grant

Start Date: Apr 1, 2014
End Date: Apr 30, 2014

The goal of this project is to bring together all those interested in understanding, measuring, and modeling ET to report on advances in basic science, technology, applied methods, ecological, and socio-economic implications of ET processes and changes at all scales.

We will accomplish our objective by supporting the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, a non-profit organization identified in the primary grant award, in their Decennial International Evapotranspiration Symposium titled "Evapotranspiration: Challenges in Measurement and Modeling from Leaf to the Landscape Scale and Beyond". The goal of this symposium is bring together scientists, engineers, students, and technical experts exploring state-of-the-art knowledge and technology to monitor and model ET at multiple spatial and temporal scales.
