Provide ongoing support and development of the RUSLE2 conservation planning tool.
1) On an ongoing basis, support development of the RUSLE2D application that calls RUSLE2 through the most up-to-date Dynamic Link Library (DLL) and creates spatial erosion output potentially useful for inclusion in the Conservation Delivery Streamlining Initiative (CDSI) effort. 2) Develop, insert, and verify necessary code for algorithms that calculate soil organic carbon/matter from existing soil, climate, and biomass parameters that are currently being tracked in RUSLE2 (based on CQESTR or ROTHC). 3) Insert and verify necessary code in RUSLE2 to implement algorithms that can be used to make eroded sediment size (and therefore sediment delivery) a function of management (through effects on soil organic matter).
