Produce high yielding varieties and experimental lines from exotic soybean and wild soybean germplasm and develop new technology to more efficiently select and utilize exotic soybean germplasm for increasing yield.

Develop both glyphosate tolerant and conventional varieties and germplasm lines with a combination of diverse pedigree, high yield, and resistance to soybean cyst nematode (SCN) and/or root knot nemaotode (RKN) in maturity groups III, IV and V.
