1. Add pasture and warm season grasses to baseline historical climate and scenarios within APSIM simulations. 2. Provide ecosystem service output coefficients useable for water quality dealing in Integrated Economic Water Quality Model, InVest or other models. This includes pasture and warm season grass components for historical climate, and each farming system for new future climate runs based on the localized climate scenario. 3. Scale-down the A2 or other climate scenarios and rerun APSIM to fit the Chippewa River Watershed. 4. Conduct soil, plant and water tests (up to 400 samples) on farms to verify ASPIM output by selected soil types.
Identify sensitive row crop fields and model predicted environmental outcomes from conversion to perennials by: (1) Adapting the Agricultural Production Systems Simulator Model climate change projections downscaled to the Chippewa River Watershed and (2) helping develop decision tools for farmers.
