Develop efficient science subroutines of RUSLE2 Dynamic Link Library (DLL) to reduce computational cost involved erosion estimation in a 2-D Geographic Information System (GIS)-based context.
a) Refactor RUSLE2 science subroutines to enable computations independent of the RUSLE2 calculation engine. b) Develop a new RUSLE2 function that links all detachment and transport subroutines for efficient computation of erosion, sediment transport, and deposition. c) Link 2-Dimensional RUSLE2 erosion and sediment delivery estimates with the ARS ephemeral gully calculator.
