The objectives of this cooperative research project are to demonstrate the effectiveness of a phosphorus removal structure constructed to trap and remove dissolved phosphorus from runoff using industrial by-products as phosphorus sorbing materials.
Work together in demonstrating the effectiveness of phosphorus removal structure by monitoring inflow and treated water through the use of automatic samplers and a flow measuring device (i.e., H-flume) from a field site in eastern Oklahoma, thereby allowing one to determine the phosphorus load reduction.
