Application of ecological site and vegetation state mapping concepts for monitoring of the effectiveness of mitigation measures for conservation of cultural and natural resources within military training areas.

Determine ecological sites and associated current vegetation states for locations at Ft. Bliss Training Range, Texas, used for military training exercises. Develop geospatial layers of current vegetation states to be used as a basis for monitoring land conditions. Provide training for Ft. Bliss staff on ecological site and state mapping concepts, procedures, and protocols.
