Location: Small Grains and Potato Germplasm Research

Project Number: 2050-21000-032-13-S
Project Type: Non-Assistance Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Aug 1, 2013
End Date: Jun 30, 2018

Assess potato cultivars that have not been previously evaluated for expression of Bacterial Ring Rot (BRR) symptoms.

Seed pieces of each potato cultivar will be inoculated with two concentrations of Cms, 104 and 108 colony forming units/ml, to characterize the expression of BRR in each clone. The expression of BRR in inoculated seed will be compared to healthy, non-infected controls.
