Why are we doing this Study?

This study is part of a continuing effort to understand motivation to engage in exercise.

What is required of me for this study?

18 assessment and 18 exercise training visits (less than 2 hours each) to GFHNRC and/or Choice Health and Fitness over a 17 week period. Assessments will include questionnaires; electrocardiogram recording, measurements of height, weight, and blood pressure; blood sampling; participation in an interactive computer game; and estimates of body composition, leg muscle strength, and aerobic and anaerobic exercise capacity.

Will I get compensated for my time?

You can choose to receive a 24-month membership to Choice Health and Fitness Center or up to $1327 for participating.
