Biologist (Computational/Bioinformatics)

Dr. Dickey serves the principal investigators from all research units at the US Meat Animal Research Center as a Biologist (Computational) focusing on big ‘omics’ data access and use. Example data types include mass spectra, nucleic acid sequence and genetic markers. Dr. Dickey develops computational tools to efficiently analyze these data and trains scientists in big data analysis methods.
