Dr. Ammar B. Bhandari joined the Crop Production Systems Research Unit as a Research Agronomist in November 2021. Dr. Bhandari’s research in CPSRU will focus on the efficiency of corn production systems in the Mississippi Delta region. He has over five years of academic and research experience dealing with agriculture production-related issues.
His research interests include soil fertility and nutrient management in row crops, best management practices, cover crops, soil health, and the use of computer simulation models. He is a member of the American Society of Agronomy (ASA), Crop Science Society of America (CSA), and Soil Science Society of America (SSSA).
