Position Description 

As the Western Lake Erie Basin Science Advisor, my job is to communicate science and translate research for use by a diverse range of audiences. Although housed in the Agricultural Research Service, I work closely with colleagues from the Natural Resources Conservation Service to transform ARS research into implementable conservation programming. Additionally, I communicate recent research findings with other agricultural and environmental agencies and organizations in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. I am interested in Implementation Science and creating pathways and strategies to facilitate in the transfer of science across different dimensions of communication. In addition to my role as the WLEB Science Advisor, I serve as liaison to the Long-Term Agroecosystem Research network's Communications Working Group. Outside of work, I am an avid reader who enjoys gardening, crossword puzzles, and cooking.
