Agricultural Research Technician

/ARSUserFiles/52110/Cryder_Michelle.jpg

I started working for NLAE in the summer of 2010 as a student intern working with eddy covariance systems, weather stations, and data visualization. After graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Environmental Science, I started working fulltime as a technician for a Brassica research project for a few years. My current role has evolved into working with NLAE databases, writing scripts, and data analyses. I have also acquired certificates in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of West Florida and Data Science from Iowa State University. I grew up in north central Iowa and enjoy reading, fishing, and spending time with family.
