Technical Responsibilities/Support:     

Maintain colonies of Lygus hesperus Knight, an insect pest of cotton.  Catalog the changing behavior and physiology of developing and mature Lygus. Conduct assays to determine the mechanisms governing development and reproduction. Participate in the organization and set-up of lab and field studies, experimental data collection and compilation, and training of interns and visiting scientists.
