Tetrapartite 2015 Topical Areas:

1. Advancing Agricultural Technologies - Each of our countries invests significant funds each year in research and development that creates foundations for new industries, new companies, and new jobs. There is a need to accelerate and improve the adoption of research outcomes for greater economic growth.

2. Animal Vaccines - Vaccines are one of the most cost-effective strategies for controlling and eliminating life-threatening infectious diseases of humans and animals. Despite recent successes, there are still diseases for which there are either no vaccines or where current vaccines lack optimal efficacy. A global Veterinary Vaccinology Survey was conducted under the auspices of STAR-IDAZ to map current research activities and ascertain gaps and future needs emphasized. Veterinary vaccinology research should give increased emphasis to developing and exploiting new tools and technologies to develop novel and/or improved vaccines.

Food Waste and Losses will be discussed informally.
