South Korea Rural Development Administration (RDA) Appoints New RDA-ARS Virtual Lab (RAVL) Coordinator Dr. Kangjin Lee, November 2015 |
Dr. Kangjin Lee, of the South Korean Rural Development Administration (RDA), will serve a two-year term beginning February 2016 as the new Korean coordinator of the RDA-ARS Virtual Laboratory (RAVL) program. His office is located in the ARS Office of International Research Programs (OIRP) in the George Washington Carver Center, Beltsville. As the ARS RAVL coordinator, Dr. Lee works with John Shekailo of OIRP, to identify and create new projects for mutually beneficial collaborative research between ARS and RDA scientists under the auspices of the RAVL program. Additionally, Dr. Lee is conducting his own research on a project entitled "On-site sensing technologies for real-time food safety inspection and crop monitoring for food security". |
