ARS Researchers Partner on 59 USAID Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER) Grant Proposals |
ARS researchers partnered on 59 USAID Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER) grant program applications for the 2015 funding cycle. The ARS Office of International Research Programs (OIRP) informed ARS scientists of the opportunity in an agency-wide webinar December 9, 2014. PEER is an international grants program implemented by the National Academies. It funds scientists in developing countries partnered with USG-funded researchers to address global development challenges. USDA researchers are eligible to serve as collaborators on PEER-funded projects in such diverse topics as natural resource and water management, biodiversity, energy, nutrition, and infectious disease control, etc. |
