African Goat Improvement Network (AGIN) V Workshop
Onderstepoort, South Africa October 31 - November 2, 2017

The general purpose/objective of AGIN V is to develop a structure for AGIN to facilitate the network as a cross-section of varied expertise and experience to impact publication of research and best practices, direct farmer training or information sharing (extension), and opportunities for capacity building and training among the research, international development, and government and policy arenas. This structure could offer a dedicated focus to managing the partnership to ensure its continued strength and growth to meet current and future needs for livestock research that will provide workable, affordable, and sustainable solutions for producers in varied settings, which in turn, will address the issues of food security in Africa, and around the globe.
